Clobazam IP 10 mg
Clobazam belongs to the benzodiazepine class and has anticonvulsant property.
It is agonist of GABA receptors and increases the frequency of opening of chloride channels opening and permeability to chloride channels.

Mechanism of Action
It binds to the GABA receptors associated with chloride ionophore at the various locations in the CNS. It increases the duration of duration for the proper of the ionophore.
as a result, it increases the stabilization of the membrane at the post synaptic part.

It is 90% bound to serum proteins

It undergoes N-demethylation and hydroxylation
